And this specific guitar is among the best Anderson we had so far. This Tom Anderson Hollow Drop Top Classic was built for Leadmusic on Special order in november 2010 meaning this guitar is a custom ordered unique piece.

As you understood by the name of the guitar, this instrument has a chambered alder body, meaning you have many advantages on the regular plain wood body.  Hollowing gives Hollow Drop Top more percussive bloom ("S"-style "quack") to each note.  What this means is a slightly softer touch to the attack of each note—each pick stroke.  Mid frequencies are lightly softened while top and bottom frequencies stretch farther in each direction.  The overall experience is one of a quacker quack while the hardwood top makes sure you are still there to dominate.

But for sure, the first and foremost reason to strap on a Hollow Drop Top is weight reduction.  It almost floats on your shoulder all night long.  You may forget you are wearing it.  This amazing guitar has the same wonderful sound of a regular solid body Anderson guitar with a touch more "quack" of soft attack in a guitar you can hold all night long and hardly notice anything but the music.

The chambered alder body comes with a spectacular flame maple top, with amazing patterns, very large and deep. This looks just terrific with the Burnished Orange Burst and the natural bindings. The neck is made of hard rock maple and is a single piece of wood, rosewood fretboard with happy medium back shape and satin finish. Anderson's pickups, VA7R, VA7, HF3, heavy frets and its original case, this guitar is a killer!!
