The Grand Auditorium has been the mainstay of our Acoustic/Electric line for years. Now we’ve taken this shape and applied a purely acoustic design, resulting in an entirely new guitar, yet one that feels as if you’ve known it forever.

Taylor's Indian rosewood acoustic guitar represents classic combinations with nearly universal appeal. With a Sitka spruce top Taylor add a touch of crispness to rosewood’s big, bold tone. The Taylor GA8e Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar has traditional styling that creates an elegant, understated look. The clarity, balance, sustain, excellent bass response, and wonderful coloration and figure of the India Rosewood used on this instrument is without equal. Paired with Sitka spruce, it is an unstoppable combination. Other features of the GA8e include; an ivoroid bound neck, heel, and body, gold-plated tuners, an Indian rosewood headstock overlay, and a beautiful abalone rosette and the famous Expression pickup system.

The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile and popular body style, excelling at light touch fingerstyle to full blown strumming. Great for miking and recording, the GA8e guitar's balanced mid-range and bright tone exemplify the Taylor voice.
