Information:
In 2009, ESP introduced the Phoenix-II guitars and basses to much delight. But not everyone can get an ESP. That's why the company designed these Phoenix bass guitars under the ESP LTD brand, so you can get the tone and appearance of an ESP Phoenix bass, for a great price.
The ESP LTD Deluxe Phoenix-1004 4-string electric bass guitar offers a neck thru-body construction; 34" scale; mahogany body; maple neck; ebony fingerboard; 21 XJ frets; and chrome hardware that includes Gotoh tuners and a Gotoh bridge. Pickups on the ESP LTD Deluxe Phoenix-1004 bass are EMG 35DC active models on both the bass's bridge and neck.
The 35DC pickup, with its modern appearance, is actually a product of over 30 years of design experience. Reproducing an extended range cleanly—both higher and lower—taxes the abilities of conventional pickups. In the 35DC, EMG have succeeded in getting this extended range by using an ultra-low-noise, low-impedance internal preamp, paired with ceramic loaded dual parallel coils, resulting in an extremely versatile unit that can be used for just about anything from the cleanest highs down to the dirtiest growling lows.
Specifications:
* 4-string electric bass
* Mahogany body
* 34" scale
* Neck-thru neck joint
* Maple neck
* Ebony fretboard
* Thin-U neck shape
* 21 frets
* 40mm nut width
* Gotoh bridge
* EMG35DC neck pickup
* Controls: volume/Volume/Tone
* Gotoh tuners
* Chrome hardware
* Polyurethane finish
