The Fender Custom Shop 50s Duo-Tone Stratocaster Relic is the product of an idea of Fender Germany's Gernold Linke: to achieve a more balanced tonal character, the body of this limited edition strat is made with an ash center and two alder wings. As a result, the Fender Custom Shop 50s Duo-Tone Stratocaster Relic  has a harmonic, balanced sound with twang, power and highs. The one-piece neck of the Fender Custom Shop 50s Duo-Tone Stratocaster Relic is made of maple and features a thick V profile that offers comfortable playability.

The three hand-wound Abigail Fat 50s pickups also contribute to the vintage sound of the Fender Custom Shop 50s Duo-Tone Stratocaster Relic. The relic finish of this Liited Edition Duo Tone Stratocaster makes sure it has some traces of use so that you'll think you've have been playing this instrument for a while.
