Der TC Electronic Flashback Delay ist einen Bodeneffekt, der eine weite Bandbreite von Delays sowie eine Loop-Funktion bietet. Das Spektrum der neun Delay-Typen reicht vom beliebten TC Electronic Delay 2290 bis zum Retro-Bandecho.

Außerdem sind Delay-Zeiten von bis zu sieben Sekunden möglich. Das Tempo des Delay-Effekts kann auch über "Auto-Tapping" durch das Anschlagen der Gitarre im gewünschten Metrum manuell bestimmt werden. Dabei kann mit einem Schalter am TC Electronic Flashback Delay & Looper eingestellt werden, ob es sich bei den geschlagenen Noten um Viertel oder punktierte Achtel handelt. Dieser Schalter erlaubt auch verschiedene Werte über den Stereo-Ausgang auszugeben. Die Loop-Funktion des TC Electronic Flashback Delay & Looper-Pedals ermöglicht das Erzeugen vielschichtiger Gitarrenparts.
